this time I will write about technology, it's about personal computer hardware.
A computer consist of a number of hardware that cooperate and work together. If one hardware isn't work properly, the whole computer also won't work well.
The hardware itself divided into some groups, they are: input, process, and output unit.
INPUT UNIT
Input unit is used to input various data into the memory and processor to be processed and give required information in result.
There are some examples of Input Unit devices.
Keyboard, we can use this device to enter input text and characters.
Mouse, we used this pointing device by move it forward or backward.
Touchpad, similar to mouse, but we use it by moving our finger on the surface.
Touchsreen, a touchscreen or touch screen is a screen that you can touch with your finger or a stylus pen to use, instead of or with a mouse and keyboard.
Light Pen, A light pen is a computer input device in the form of a light-sensitive wand.
Joystick, A joystick is an input device consisting of a stick that pivots on a base and reports its angle or direction to the device it is controlling. Joysticks are often used to control video games, and usually have one or more push-buttons whose state can also be read by the computer.
Gamepad, A gamepad (also called joypad or control pad), is a type of game controller held in the hand, where the digits (especially thumbs) are used to provide input.
Scanner, we use this device to import pictures from papers and documents outside of PC.
Microphone, an example of audio-input device, this works by converting sound into electric signals as input.
Webcam, we can use this device to capture video and picture of us while using computer.
PROCESSING UNIT
Processing unit works the brain of the computer. This unit process the inputted data into information.
All of the processing unit are attached on a motherboard. A motherboard is rectangular board with some kind of circuit that connects the parts of computer such as the CPU, RAM, and disk drives.
Motherboard. The motherboard or mainboard is the main circuit board in a complex electronic system, like a computer. It is the most 'central' part of a computer. All of the different parts of the computer are connected to the motherboard.
CPU, a CPU (Central Processing Unit) is like the brain; its job is to carry out instructions and calculations of a computers.
Chip Set, this part has a function as CPU's mediators and the other system's components.
RAM, random access memory (or simply RAM) is the memory or information storage in a computer that is used to store running programs and data for the programs.
Sound Card, a sound card (audio card) is the part of the Computer hardware that controls the input and output of the sound signals.
Video Card, a video card (also called a graphics card or a graphics accelerator) is a special circuit board that controls what is shown on a computer monitor and calculates 3D images and graphics.
Network Card, a network card is an expansion card which installs into a computer and enables that computer to physically connect to a local area network.
Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is something used by computers to store information. Hard disks use magnets to store information. The capacity of a hard drive is usually measured in gigabytes (GB).
Solid-State Drive. A solid-state drive (SSD) is similar to HDD, this is a data storage device that uses solid-state memory to store persistent data.
Optical Drive, an optical drive is usually a CD drive or DVD drive. Optical means it uses lenses. The drive uses a light called a laser.
OUTPUT UNIT
Output unit is used to deliver the processed data from CPU to us in the form of text, pictures, or voice.. The example of output devices are:
Monitor, we use this output unit to watch the processed data or information in the form of text and pictures.
Speakers, a loudspeaker, which is also called a speaker, is a device that is used to create the sound as an output from the computer
Headphones, allows user to hear audio directly from the computer.
Printers, this device has a function to print the information into text on a paper.
Phew, that's all that I can write, I'm sorry if there are some mistakes.
I hope those material will give benefit for you.
Hey, by the way...
